Homebound Ministry PDF Print E-mail

The Homebound Ministry meets every other Tuesday.  Our purpose is to make and take meals to members of our church that have problems cooking for themselves.  It may be long term or short term while recuperating from a hospital stay.  We also visit the rest homes even though they have their meals prepared for them.  Sometimes a visit is as important as the meal.  Anyone is welcome to cook or take meals or both - we always need more people to join.  If you have any questions contact the church office at 247-4861.

Touching Others PDF Print E-mail

Our Touching Others ministry is a group of dedicated ladies that meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 9:00 AM.  They meet in the room next to the church office affectionately called the "Sewing Room".  The ladies started the group making turbans for cancer patients, and now they also make quilts for fire victimes, baby items for Hope for Life, lap throws for those in nursing homes, bags, and comfort quilts for St. Judes.

Anyone is welcome to join them - you don't have to be able to sew - they always need people to iron, cut, and other things.  This wonderful ministry has touched many lives and has been the focus of national magazine articles, as well as local reports.

Come on out and join us!  We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m.Sample Image
